Avicenna Farsi School

Sundays, Noor Center meets Avicenna Farsi School. It is one of the oldest Farsi schools in Northern California. Established  in the 1980’s and run by volunteers passionate about educating our youth, Avicenna Farsi School has helped educate many hundreds of young people in the Farsi language as well as about Iranian and Islamic culture. Many of our alumni have gone on to some of the finest institutions of higher education in the U.S. and have become involved and contributing members of their communities.

Avicenna Farsi School offers classes for both students who already have a familiarity with Farsi as a spoken language as well as those for whom Farsi is a second language. Recently, a separate section for Afghan dialect is added for those who are interested. There are also various youth tutoring programs in subjects including mathematics, science, writing, and SAT test preparation. For 2016–2017,  the schools starts September 25. To find out more about our programs and how to enroll yourself or your child, please email AvicennaFarsiSchool(at sign)gmail.com, call 916-617-9925 or come by Qoba Foundation  at 4836 Marconi Ave., Carmichael, CA 95608 any Sunday between 2:00 – 5:30 PM.
